The first trailer for the third season of Stranger Things is here, and while the gang are growing up and enjoying summer, there's still the threat of an otherworldly Big Bad.

Stranger Things has a new disgusting monster, and fans are already wondering what Dungeons & Dragons creature it will be named after. Steve's back too, deciding to spend his summer as an employee at Hawkins' brand-new Starcourt Mall, where he works with Robin (Maya Hawke) at the Scoops Ahoy ice cream shop.

It then shows Dustin looking perplexed, while it cuts to a visibly distressed and ill-looking Will crying over a throwback picture of him and the boys dressed up in Ghostbusters outfits from season two.

The game's release date came via the Nintendo Nindies event, confirming that Stranger Things will be available on Switch on July 4. (Say what you will, but I loved that episode.) Max, on the other hand, either faced rudeness from Mike or was the object of Lucas's and Dustin's affections; she didn't really have a chance to grow on her own. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the third season of Stranger Things as we learn it.
