The pilot was captured after his MiG-21 Bison fighter aircraft, which was pushing away Pakistani fighter jets from Indian airspace, crashed into Pakistani territory.

Amid the rising tensions between the two countries, India has handed over a dossier to Pakistan with "specific details of JeM complicity in Pulwama terror attack and the presence of JeM terror camps and its leadership in Pakistan".
Mr. Trump said the USA had been involved, "trying to help them both out" to "see if we can get some organization and some peace".
Tuesday's escalation marked the latest deterioration in relations between the two countries.
