The Power Max P18K Pop was revealed at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The camera seems average on the device but it doesn't stand out, this wouldn't be a major issue for most users as the device is made mainly with battery life in mind. The reaction to the Power Max P18K Pop has been mixed, with some not quite sure what to make of the thick device while others seem amused enough to nearly like it. Well, Energizer might have a phone for you thanks to its newest phone that has a massive, long-lasting battery. At MWC, Avenir Telecom unveiled an Energizer-branded smartphone with a whopping 18,000mAh battery.
We have all had our smartphone batteries run out of juice quite a few times. A full charge still takes about eight hours, though. That's just 613mAh under the mark for being SEVEN TIMES as large as the battery in the iPhone XS. And even with Avenir claiming the P18K features some sort of fast charging tech, even at the industry's best speeds, you'd be lucky if you could go from zero to 100 per cent in less than three hours.
Another user joked that the phone 'doubles as a self defense weapon'.
To celebrate the thicc phone in all its glory, here's Enter Shikari's 2007 hit, Return to Energizer. It is being marketed to a niche demographic who carry a plethora of devices and power banks with them.
If you had to pick one aspect of a smartphone to improve, battery life would be pretty high on many people's lists.
The LCD screen measures 6.2 inches, featuring Full HD resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. On the "back" of the device, facing out toward the world no matter what mode it's in, there is a 48-megapixel sensor in a dual setup with a 12-megapixel unit. Unfortunately, the company has yet to share an exact release date and pricing, but expect that huge battery pack, not to mention the popup cameras on the front and the rear triple-camera system, to push the asking price past premium.
However, early tests of the device don't appear to be totally flawless. Instead of a sensor notch, the P18K Pop uses a physical pop-out module with two selfie cameras.
