Apple unveils Apple TV Channels for dedicated entertainment hub in TV app

At a star-studded event in Cupertino, California, on Monday, the technology giant unveiled an original content service called Apple TV+, a revamped TV app, and an Apple TV channels service for tapping into outside providers including HBO, Showtime, and Starz.

Another perk of the subscription service is that players with multiple Apple devices can pick up where they left off immediately after shifting to a new platform. The company is emphasizing privacy and says it won't know what you bought or where.

Apple event's live stream "It's Show Time" can be watched on the company's dedicated events page. Beginning in May, customers can subscribe to Apple TV channels separately on the Apple TV app with no additional apps, accounts, or passwords required.
