Grammy Awards this year chose to get stars like Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Kacey Musgraves and more together to pay a musical tribute to the legendary performer, Dolly Parton.

Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus perform "Jolene" at the 61st Grammy Awards in Los Angeles February 11, 2019.

The celebration ended with everyone coming together onstage for a rendition of "9 to 5" which featured a number of ticking clocks appearing in the background.

Dua Lipa will be making her Grammy stage debut on the show, where she'll be joined by St. Vincent for a special performance, while Adams will sing alongside Fantasia and Day in a tribute to late Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin.

Dolly Parton has revealed the secret to her five-decade marriage with husband Carl Thomas Dean.

To gasps and laughs, Parton then described her feelings at seeing the likes of Willie Nelson, Katy Perry, Mavis Staples and Garth Brooks perform her songs at the gala.

Parton used the event to make an alternatingly hilarious and heartfelt speech where she talked about breasts ("Ol' Pancho and Lefty"), compared watching the evening's tribute musicians to watching porn, and discussed standing up for herself in a man's world. "She's taught us all so much and we were just saying, it's about time that this (MusiCares honour) happened". She was also joined by goddaughter Miley Cyrus, as well as Maren Morris and Little Big Town.
