But the biggest launch out of Samsung in the first half will take place next month when the company finally takes the wraps off of its new Galaxy S10 flagship smartphone lineup. It isn't all excellent news, nonetheless, because the new flat screened Galaxy S10 Lite will draw the quick straw with a battery capacity of exclusively 3,100 mAh.
Samsung is going to announce the Galaxy S10 line-up at its February 20 special event in San Francisco. And now we have a new leak telling us that the phone may launch in stores as soon as late March, or by early April at the latest. Previous leaks pointed to the name "S10 Lite" for the affordable entry.
According to rumors from tech fans around the world, the upcoming Galaxy S10 series is expected to feature three rear cameras that deliver 12-megapixel, 16-megapixel and 13-megapixel resolution, respectively, and dual front-facing cameras. It is worth adding that Samsung smartphone prices in Italy are usually Euro 20 - EUR 50 more than the price in the rest of Europe.
Separately, a photo of an alleged prototype of the Galaxy S10 went viral online. There will also be selfie cameras on both the devices with improved technology. In-screen fingerprint sensors will feature in the two high-end models. This suggests that it could be possible that the four rear camera setup S10 phone could actually be the 5G phone from Samsung. For example, the South Korean electronics maker has updated its Samsung Pay app with references to an in-display fingerprint sensor, which is a rumored feature of the Galaxy S10.
Unfortunately, the hotly-anticipated handsets in the image tweet by Evan Blass are all fitted with protective cases - making it a little tough to discern the design of the phone. All of the phones, it said, will be made of the same materials.
