The Duchess of Cambridge made a very sunny appearance over the weekend, attending the final day of Wimbledon with her husband Prince William.

Thomas Markle said: "My thing about my daughter right now is that I think she is terrified". Claiming that "I've seen her smile for years".

Miss Williams, who became friends with Meghan after meeting her at a charity football match in 2014, was a guest at her wedding to Harry in May. She says that "high heels ruin lives", and she knows from first-hand experience, because she used to wear them all the time as a magazine editor, and ended up with "horrible feet" filled with bunions, hammertoes, and fallen arches.

Thomas said it looks like his daughter flashes a "pained" smile.

And while we all may have been swooning over the iconic duo's first official outing alone, people online couldn't help but notice a similarity between 36-year-old Meghan Markle's outfit and the Wimbledon umpire ensembles.

Further, he maintains that he believes his daughter must feel trapped in her ridiculous new dress code and that she looks like something out of an old-timey movie; wondering why these royal women are required to constantly cover up their knees. He was reportedly paid about $130,000 for appearing in the photos. Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, did attend the wedding. The retired lighting director was forced to skip his daughter's wedding to undergo emergency heart surgery.

Kensington Palace told Sky News it would not comment on the story.

"I'm not going to wave flags and make a fool of myself".

When Meghan Markle joined the Royal Family there was speculation that Kate Middleton would resent having to share the limelight with another handsome woman. "I think Meghan is in deeper than I am", he explained.

Just last month, Thomas revealed he hadn't met Prince Harry, which makes us wonder what kind of relationship Meghan has with her father.

"Since the [first] interview [with Good Morning Britain], the phone number that I call doesn't work anymore", he said.

Mr Markle said he is sorry for "anything that went wrong" and is keen to put any differences he and Meghan have to one side. According to Thomas, this is the longest time they've gone without speaking.

Markle said he's not planning to make a huge gesture or "make a fool" of himself.

"I'd find a hotel room and try to reach them".

Let's hope Meghan gets the message.
