Britain's Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle on Wednesday wrapped up a two-day visit to Ireland, the first official overseas visit ever paid by the royal couple since their marriage in May.

The Duchess began her day in a bespoke Dior little black dress that drew comparisons to her elegant white Givenchy wedding gown, due to its bateau neckline, fitted waist, and flared skirt.

But this isn't the first time a royal has been criticised for their political stand on an issue.

Prince Harry absolutely wants to have children. This was repealed in a referendum in May, abolishing one of the strictest abortion laws in the world.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now on their first official visit to Ireland.

Queen Elizabeth, 92, has also begun to scale back her duties because of her advancing age, handing over some of her responsibilities to her heir, Prince Charles.

Later on, the duchess made a quick change for a reception at the residence of Robin Barnett, the British ambassador to Ireland.

It is a replica of a 19th century one used for most of Queen Victoria's children which is now too delicate to wear.

The 36-year-old royal even let her hair fall down in loose waves, and opted for a simple fold-over clutch by Givenchy in place of the larger Fendi bag she carried to the previous event.

In 2013, Middleton was seen kissing the cheeks of Her Majesty as she arrived in Sandringham for the royal family's Christmas Day Service.

"These were private conversations and I think Meghan could have had every expectation that they would stay off the record". However, Meghan proved that she is not a conventional royal by sharing her thoughts about the abortion rule in Ireland. Both tweets were later deleted but you can read them here.

Meghan's carefully refined style ― which is seemingly getting chicer with each appearance ― ensured that royal fans in Ireland got a glimpse of designer labels, tailored dresses and fun accessories.
