Olive Qutub's head chef Dhruv Oberoi remembers being very surprised on seeing Bourdain enjoy beer with former US President Barack Obama, in one of the episodes of Bourdain's show, "Parts Unknown".

Following the death of Anthony Bourdain, French authorities have released a statement with more details.

Karen Reynolds, director of CNN PR and Bourdain's longtime publicist for Parts Unknown, painted a different picture to People Magazine. But one question still remains. He lost his battle with depression and took his own life.

He had been dating Italian actor Asia Argento since 2017.

On May 30, Argento posted on Instagram a photo of Bourdain sitting on a ferry as they traveled to Kowloon.

Bourdain was 61 years old.

"His travel schedule was grueling, and he often seemed quite beat-up from it, as anyone would be", the source said.

"I was in a cranky mood after my last restaurant closed and felt no reason not to tell the truth about a business I both love and have mixed emotions about", Bourdain told CBS2 in 1999. "I have a restless, creative mind".

"He loved and was loved in return", Cooper said of Bourdain. "She made it incredible". "We thought it was unusual".

"He is absolutely the last person in the world I would have ever dreamed would do something like this", she said.

So a long distance relationship worked between Bourdain and Argento. Inside, he found that Bourdain had killed himself in his bathroom. "I'll never forget him".

The week before that, the couple were together in Florence, Italy, and still appeared to be happy and romantic. She kept her head down most of the time and according to TMZ, she may actually be headed to Anthony's funeral.

After his first marriage to wife Nancy Putkoski ended in 2005, Bourdain recalled that he was "aimless and regularly suicidal", the Daily Mail reports.

Tweeting her article in October past year, Bourdain addressed his girlfriend and her allegations at the once-powerful Hollywood producer.

He graduated from the Dwight Englewood school in in 1973 and then graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1978, moving onto several New York City restaurants.

"Many of you, like many of us, are feeling a whole range of emotions: shock, sadness, confusion that a man who was seemingly having the ride of his life in the middle of his life has now suddenly reached the end of his life", he began his "Anderson Cooper 360" show.
