Honor 10, Huawei's sub-brand flagship smartphone is set for both global and India launch today, May 15. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

With that in mind we've created this guide to their similarities and differences to give you an idea of where your money goes and whether the Huawei P20 is worth the extra expense. The phone has also been launched in India at the same time. The phone is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The notch on the display is the same size as the P20 Pro and the all-glass design is reminiscent of the Huawei flagship smartphone. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1 layered on top.

Speaking about the innards, the Honor 10 has Kirin 970 SoC under the hood running the show which is mated to 6 GB RAM.

It is officially launch day for the Honor 10 smartphone here in London. This smartphone is made out of metal and glass, it sports a display notch, and a dual camera setup on the back. It comes in four colours, namely Glacier Grey, Midnight Black, Phantom Blue and Phantom Green, and uses a glass construction on the front and the back, separated by an aluminum frame.

A 16MP with an f/1.8 aperture and a MP telephoto sensor can be seen placed on the back of the Honor 10. Honor has earmarked this area with dots, to let you know that that's where you need to press to unlock your phone. There is also a dedicated NPU for processing the AI tasks. Design-wise, the camera is located on the top left corner and is aligned horizontally with an LED flash on the inner edge.

Honor is one of our favourite smartphone brands. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details! "That's what we work hard for everyday at Honor", said George Zhao, President of Honor. We're talking mostly photography enhancements, like real-time scene recognition, an AI portrait mode for "authentic bokeh" effects, 3D portrait lighting, as well as "professional yet natural" selfies. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie snapper with fixed focus lens.

So the Honor 10's screen is ever so slightly larger, higher resolution and sharper, but it really is a very small difference. Notably, the phone has dual-sim support in addition to the expandable memory card slot, so no more compromises there.

There's not much this phone can't do and that will be something for the OnePlus 6 to think about when it launches in India on Amazon on 17 May - and considering it's expected to cost around Rs 35,000, the Honor 10 will make compelling case on Flipkart which was recently acquired by Walmart.

Bundled offers include Rs 5,000 on exchange of certain devices plus an additional Rs 3,000 off in certain situations.
