Though many people had already watched it through leaked recordings, the official advertisement for Rage 2 has finally launched and you can watch it for yourself below.
E3 2018 is nearly upon us and Bethesda's line-up of titles has remained shrouded in mystery. "RAGE 2 brings together a true open world FPS experience where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything". Melee weapons and thrown weapons are also seen in the announcement trailer, which means they will likely be featured in the game as well. That's literally all we know right now, with more details expected to drop tomorrow at 3.00pm BST. There are quick cuts of several enemy types including ghosts, scorchers, mutants, soldiers from the Authority and a huge monster similar to the one you square off against in the Dead City level of the first game. Just as we expected, Bethesda released the new trailer which is longer and has a goal for watching it.
In the original Rage, players found themselves in the not-too-distant future after an asteroid impacts Earth, leaving a ravaged world behind. We simply have no idea what it's going to show. Bethesda's Twitter has been ramping up with not-so-subtle teases and at the time of writing has five pictures that progressively hint at RAGE 2's presence. That's a game most have been yearning for, for years. This was further connected to Rage when the game's official Twitter account piped up once more with a tweet bluntly stating "C:\Desktop\Videos\AnnounceTrailer\Monday".
