The Oklahoma men are sticking to their schedule.

FSU was bounced from the NCAA Tournament previous year in the second round against No. 11 seed Xavier.

This year could reinforce the knocks as much as any.

In recent months, the word "Quadrant" has become synonymous with the selection process, much like "RPI", "Bubble" and "Bracketology" in the past.

UNC Greensboro: The Spartans won the Southern Conference this week to claim a spot in the dance for the first time since 2001.

Florida State Athletics Tickets representatives will also be on hand at the NCAA Selection Show Watch Party to take orders for interest attendees.

SURPRISE: You didn't have to look hard to find someone saying Oklahoma didn't belong in the NCAA Tournament.

The most interesting part of that is when looking at the teams the site has projected as an 11 seed, NU has almost the best odds of the bunch.

Oklahoma and star point guard Trae Young garnered a No. 10 seed in the Midwest region and will take on Rhode Island, with the victor likely facing Duke in the Round of 32.

"I don't think it's just going to be a little blip on the radar", said John Tauer, the championship-winning coach at Division III St. Thomas in Minnesota, who doubles as a social psychology professor.

But we've seen versions of this before. "Hopefully, we get in". No one has OU picked higher than an eight-seed.

"I told our players that everyone can play if they're in there", Bennett said in a teleconference Sunday after the pairings were released.

Numerous teams already know that they're in thanks to winning conference tournaments. That means making the NCAA Tournament as an automatic qualifier instead of creating additional at-large bids.

As for the Bills, the team's Twitter handle reacted to Johnson's mistake.

All 13 of the Sooners' losses are against teams that are now projected to be in the NCAA Tournament with the exception of Iowa State. Many times. If the trend continues, the bragging about RPI and KenPom rankings next year will continue to feel more like propaganda than truth, more like something to hang the league by than to prop it up with. The Bulldogs had an RPI of 36 and four Quadrant 1 wins entering the game, one of them over Villanova at home. The senior guard averaged 19.8 points, 5.4 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 45.4% from the field and 45.7% from three.

The UB Bulls, a 13-seed, will play on Thursday against Arizona.

Expect to hear Virginia, Villanova, Kansas and Xavier. So I fear that Baylor and Oklahoma State could miss the tourney. Two years ago, it won the tournament as a No. 2 seed, then lost two starters; returned as the No. 1 overall seed, then lost a national player-of-the-year finalist, Josh Hart; and is now back as the second overall seed.

They don't call it March Madness for nothing. In its schedule, OU has a major advantage, and it's clinging to that tightly as Selection Sunday arrives. There are too many examples like this to list.
