Life on the edge of getting in the NCAA Tournament can be an up-and-down affair that can give you an exciting feeling one moment, and a bad feeling the next.

Nebraska still posted a Strength of Record - easily its best resume metric - of 32nd nationally that put it ahead of 24 other teams considered to be on the bubble or safely in the tournament.

BYU received an invitation to the National Invitation Tournament on Sunday as a No. 6 seed and will play at No. 3 seed Stanford either Tuesday or Wednesday. She was the only freshman or sophomore to earn a spot on the five-player Big Ten All-Defensive Team and she was also one of five conference newcomers on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team. The Broncos and Huskies met in a closed-door preseason scrimmage, with the Broncos reportedly winning the session. Wagner will be pitted against the No. 1-seeded, Baylor University Bears of the Big 12 Conference at the Ferrell Center in Waco, TX. This is the first time the teams have officially met since December 23, 1999, according to UW.

Boise State and Washington played a closed scrimmage before the season.

"Marquette had flashes of good play, but we weren't able to make it come together when it mattered", said Tim Houge, MU grad student. Nebraska most recently made the NCAA Tournament in 2015. UW was 20-11 going into the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas.

The games will be divided into four 10-minute quarters as opposed to two 20-minute halves.

The Huskers last played March 3 when the team lost to Maryland in the Big Ten Tournament. It was the Ducks' first loss in four home games this season. "If we get on a roll and get to NY (for the tournament semifinals), hopefully, he could then come back some and help". This will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools.

The Huskies were at their high-water mark following their upset over then-No.

Both the Huskers and Bluejays are in the Kansas City Regional. But they made it as a No. 10 seed. That pushed their record to 17-6. They had a tough Big East schedule facing some top teams Xavier twice and Villanova three times.

SE Louisiana (22-11) at Saint Mary's (28-5), 7 p.m.
