To begin with, it's rumoured that the Nokia 1, a budget smartphone running Android Go will be launched. Whether or not there's room for these two companies in a market that is already saturated by highly-competitive Android phones is up for debate.

Reports shed lights on the fact that the Nokia 7 Plus smartphone might apparently come two color variants which in the leak are placed right side by side. This device has a 3D curved glass with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display up front has a 5.5-inch diagonal and a standard, 16:9 aspect ratio. The near stock OS coupled with a Snapdragon 835 chip and 6GB of RAM mean this thing is blazing fast. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage that can not be expanded.

Like other modern flagships with limited internal space, the Nokia 8 Sirocco ditches the headphone jack.

The Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 1 will be available starting on April 2018 at €749, 399€ and 85€, respectively.

HMD Global, the company that now makes Nokia -branded phones, launched a slew of smartphones on Sunday, including a high-end offering to compete with giants Apple and Samsung. The third device introduced today by HMD Global is the Nokia 7 Plus. It measures just 2mm thin at the edge and it combines a curved edge-to-edge pOLED 2K 5.5-inch display with smaller bezels and moulded body curves to create an ultra-compact profile.

The Nokia 7 Plus is machined from a single block of Series 600 aluminium with copper accents around the camera and the frame.

According to reports, the Nokia 8 Pro might just be being built to compete with the premium phones of the century as it is reportedly going to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845. And of course, there's a dual rear camera with ZEISS optics. It will also support OZO Audio for 360-degree directional audio capture. At the time, the leaks pointed that the phone could be called the Nokia 10.

Mobile World Congress, the wireless industry's biggest conference, begins next week in Barcelona, where more than 100,000 people are set to see the latest smartphones, artificial intelligence devices and autonomous drones exhibited by roughly 2,300 companies.
