This acquisition helped Razer speed up their smartphone ambitions.

The Razer Phone boasts an 8-millimeter-thin aluminum body. Now, they have released a beast of a smartphone, the Razer Phone which is touted to be a serious gamer's smartphone.

Another area where the Razer Phone is head and shoulders above other even flagship smartphones is the brilliant display.

The Razer Phone price is $699 in the United States and it starts shipping on November 15. This will help the Razer Phone renders smooth animations and transitions during gaming. The firm made its first step towards manufacturing smartphones after acquiring mobile manufacturer Nextbit earlier this year. Razer wanted a piece of the smartphone market and a smartphone was in the making since.

The Razer Phone's 5.7-inch screen is sharp and crisp, with good colour vibrancy and contrast. Dubbed simply the Razer Phone, there was a lot of talk about its "groundbreaking audiovisual technologies and processing muscle" that would enable mobile gamers to "Watch, Listen, Play" like never before.

The Razer Phone offers a 5.72-inch Quad HD IGZO LCD screen with the worlds first 120Hz Ultramotion display. The display as already mentioned has 120Hz of refresh rate and supports Wide Color Gamut (WCG) and has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for the acidental drop protection.

Now let's talk about the display. However, the company has tried to compensate that by including the THX-certified 24-bit DAC audio adapter that they claim to deliver "audiophile quality" sound through the headphones. Notably, there is no headphone jack and its features a USB-C port.

The Razer phone is finally here, creating a segment in the process where none existed, that of a gaming phone. The Snapdragon 835 chipset is included along with 8GB of RAM which is must for gaming. The Razer phone has 64GB of inbuilt memory, but also supports memory cards up to 2TB to this end.

Android Nougat runs the Razer Phone for now but will upgraded to Android Oreo in Q1 2017. The rear cameras comes with a dual tone and dual LED flash.

The Razer Phone now up for pre-order in select American and European markets. For a device aimed at pro-gamers, the Razer phone appears to have arrived with all the right tools to get the job done. The handset will be sold through Razer's own online store front as well as Amazon with shipments starting on 17th November.
