OnePlus 5T: It Is Worth The Wait

The OnePlus 3T brought significant upgrades to the OnePlus 3, most notable being the slight improvement in SoC-the Snapdragon 821 essentially being an overclocked Snapdragon 820-and cameras.

Things are changing nearly overnight – Carl Pei (CEO of OnePlus) went from dodging questions about why OnePlus 5 is out of stock to posting a teasing photo, hinting at a “great camera”.

OnePlus 5T is the newest phone from the company that has become the talk of the town. We'll hence refer to the new phone as the 5T, rather than the 6. Expect to see a dual camera setup in the back as well.

Coming to the specifications, most of the features remains same as OnePlus 5 except the screen size and bezels. A Chinese e-commerce retailer has allegedly listed the OnePlus 5T, with its price tag and important tech specifications. The smartphone will also sport a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security.

The listing doesn't only reveal the price of the handset, it also shows its specs.

The other major thing that the listing mentions is the price of the phone. The significant difference that leaks have revealed is in the front, and by the front, we mean to say Display. Sometimes we even see marketing materials from the manufacturer ahead of time, after simple slip-ups. Here's what you need to know. Today we have the first Live Image of the OnePlus 5T and it looks attractive. Oppo Mart is not a source that can be trusted with information about OnePlus devices. Interestingly, there's no listing of a 6GB RAM model with 64GB of storage, possibly hinting that OnePlus may possibly be dropping the option for this model. A lot has already been talked by the OnePlus 5T already. The key highlight though will be the bezel-less or full view display that will be present. At this point, we have no official confirmation regarding anything related to this handset.

That display is expected to offer a resolution of 2160x1080. Top-tier handsets like the Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung Galaxy Note 8, LG V30, and iPhone X have all utilised this design, arguably leaving the OnePlus 5 looking a little stale.

Oneplus 5T comes with a Dual-camera, 20MP+16MP, F2.6/F1.7, Sony IMX 398/350 that work together when you take a shot. The screen will be protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

One of the strongest USPs of OnePlus 5 is the reliable battery.

If you love the idea of having a clean and smooth software experience with fast updates and you want it to come with that 3.5mm jack, then you should get OnePlus 5.
