HMD Global has launched its fifth smartphone of the year, Nokia 2 in India. The Nokia 2 is supposed to come pre-loaded with Android Nougat (7.1.1), 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
As for the specifications, Nokia 7 comes with a 5.2-inch full HD IPS display with Corning's Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. The phone is backed by a huge 4000mAh battery, which should easily give more than a day's worth of usage, given the specs of the phone. The rear side of the phone is fitted with a pair of 16-megapixel sensors that are arranged vertically along with a dual-LED flash. It is codenamed TA-1035 on the website. According to reports, Nokia is holding a big event to launch new Android phones after it recently launched high-end flagship Nokia 8 in India. Aside from that, the new smartphone is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 quad-core processor which runs at a clock speed of 1.3GHz. And the company claims the Nokia 2 delivers on all these fronts. The mobile Nokia 2 is going to be available in two color variants including black and white.
Bringing back Nokia (Lumia) Camera UI to Nokia Android smartphones have been a long-standing demand by Nokia fans. The event is likely to kick-off at 12 pm today and all Nokia fans can watch live-stream of the event on Nokia's official Facebook page. Furthermore, the handset has a set of two 13-megapixel camera sensors that have been fixed with four screws.
Nokia 2 has currently surfaced on Bluetooth SIG Site. Leaksters Evan Blass and Roland Quandt provided the information about the looks and battery capacity of the device. It also falls behind on screen resolution with a 480 x 854 pixels screen resolution.
A single gigabyte of RAM will be working alongside the Snapdragon 212. It's also the company's first phone to boast a glass body design.
