Nearly half of Glennon's 40 pass attempts (18) were spread out between running back Tarik Cohen (12 targets) and Zach Miller (six targets) in Sunday's 23-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
A narrow victory against a team that finished last in the NFC North at 3-13 showed the Falcons have plenty to work on as they prepare for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers next week. Atlanta led 28-3 in the contest but lost to Tom Brady and the Pats.
The Falcons couldn't get the piece of art that is Julio Jones fully out of its crate, giving some fantasy league owners the hives.
In the case of the Chicago Bears, they're about to find out if the additions that they made will pay off in the form of more victories this season.
Still, Glennon needs someone competent to play wide receiver.
That it was Brooks Reed, not Beasley or Jarrett or McKinley, beating Bobby Massie soundly and taking down Glennon for his second sack of the day may have surprised onlookers, but not the Falcons. Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons travel up to Chicago to take on the Bears. He is ranked third on the Bears with 73 tackles in last season playing in just nine games.

They managed just 64 yards rushing and didn't get much from their passing game.
For on another third-down moment with the Falcons next possession, Hooper converted a short pass from Ryan into a 25-yard gain that set up one last important field goal.
The second down pass went straight into the hands of RB Jordan Howard, inside the one-yard line, but he flat-out dropped the ball. That came after catches for 18 and 17 yards in the game. But he dazzled at times during the preseason and sparked a quarterback debate in Chicago.
Glennon was sacked four times and hit 10 by a rush that did little to cover itself in glory or dominate the game.
"When you've been through that and he's done it, and it's happened again, it's happened again, done it, and it sucks", Bears tight end Zach Miller said. As we found out a year ago, Howard is a grinder who can wear a defense down.
"He's got a fractured scapula so it looks like he'll go to IR", said Fox. But the Bears decided against keeping him on their initial roster, and he wasn't claimed on waivers by any of the other 31 teams in the league. "That's what this week will be". Rookie Tarik Cohen also looked good as he scored on a 19-yard pass from Mike Glennon in the final quarter. White will be placed on injured reserve but possibly could return late in the season.
The Bears certainly need it with Alshon Jeffery gone and Cameron Meredith suffering a season-ending knee injury in the preseason. As it stands Kendall Wright will most likely assume the wide receiver one role.
