Call said that as they talked, Mueller was inconsistent with his details about what had happened during the Red Tour meet-and-greet-and his change in story was part of the reason why he was sacked.
Baldridge also suggested that Mueller had rendered himself unemployable by publicizing the incident with Swift.
He said he asked Mueller's employer to investigate the encounter but didn't request that Mueller be fired. Bell is a co-defendant.
Baldridge disputed that description of the incident and instead called it an "assault".
Taylor attended court proceedings in Denver earlier this week.
He said he and Swift were trying to reach around one another and "our hands touched and our arms touched" during a photo opportunity he estimated lasted no more than 40 seconds.
Swift counter-sued, alleging sexual assault.
The photo shows Mueller with his hand behind Swift, just below her waist.
"Mom, a guy just grabbed my (rear end) in the meet and greet", Andrea Swift said her daughter told her.
Dent and Simbeck are listed as possible witnesses in the Denver trial. He said that when Swift bonded with Mueller's then-girlfriend, Shannon Melcher, as the two met the singer for a photo, Mueller became jealous. He is seeking at least $3 million.
Swift has countersued, claiming she was sexually assaulted. He argues that it could have been any number of men that could have touched her and that Swift has no way of knowing if it was him.
Swift's lawyers called the photo taken at the event "damning" proof that Mueller groped her.
"I felt what seemed to be a rib cage or ribs", Mueller said on the first day of testimony.
Baldridge stressed the absence of evidence from Mueller's various broken electronic devices, as well as his prior conflict with Haskell (a self-described "vindictive" person, per Mueller) and his relegation to the public, not media, photo-booth line at that 2013 concert that made him feel ignored by Swift. She denied that Taylor specifically asked for Mueller to be fired, but Mrs.
Mueller testified that the groping accusation, which he maintains is false, cost him his future in radio.
In September 2015, Mr Mueller sued Swift, denying her allegations and claiming the controversy had caused him to lose his $150,000-a-year job at KYGO-FM.
Talking to reporters her lawyer clarified this in his opening statement at Denver in the court.
"I knew exactly what happened", Andrea Swift said under oath.
Mueller is a former radio show host. She is expected to take the witness stand later in the trial.
The fashion plate: Swift looked demure, wearing a long-sleeved black shirtdress with plaid trim, sheer black tights, needle-thin heels and a red lip.
In addition, Baldridge quoted a deposition by Swift's photographer Stephanie Simbeck, who said Swift uttered "that guy" had grabbed her behind. But they do want others to know "that you can always say no".
Swift, her mother, Andrea Swift, and her radio promotions manager, Frank Bell, were in the courtroom Monday, as was Mueller, as lawyers began slimming the jury pool to eight.
Mueller had given evidence in the morning session, conceding that a picture taken during the alleged assault could be interpreted as incriminating.
