"Your client grabbed my ass", she told McFarland. "He latched onto my bare a- cheeks as I moved away from him visibly uncomfortably", she said. Taylor's attorney J. Douglas Baldrige said, "She's just trying to tell people out there that you can say no when someone puts their hand on you".

A picture of Swift, Mueller and his girlfriend is a key piece of evidence in the lawsuit - with lawyers for the singer claiming it is "damning" proof that the presenter touched her backside. She felt sick, she recalled what happened and said, "I was very upset ..." She is suing Mueller for a symbolic one dollar while Mueller is seeking $3 million in damages.

When Swift was asked about how she reacted when she learned about Mueller's termination, she said, "I didn't have a reaction to a odd person I didn't know losing his job.that was a product of his decisions, not mine". In 2015, Mueller sued Swift, claiming the false accusations had cost him his job.

"It was a very shocking thing that has never happened to me before".

"It was not an accident, it was completely intentional, and I have never been so sure of anything in my life", Swift said in a deposition.

Mueller denied groping her in testimony on Wednesday.

Swift said the groping occurred as she posed with Mueller and his girlfriend for a photo. He met Swift after a concert when he was a radio personality with 98.5 KYGO in Denver, Colorado and she claims that he groped her butt during the photo-op.

Swift's reply: "Yes, she did not have her hand on my ass".

There have been few artists as divisive as Taylor Swift in recent years. Whatever the truth of Swift's situation, most who are assaulted don't speak up.

"I do know", Simbeck testified. She testified that "this was something I did not want known".

In court, the singer-songwriter's testy exchange with Mueller's attorney occasionally elicited chuckles - even from the eight-member jury.

Swift contradicted Mueller's earlier testimony that he had simply "jostled" Swift while posing for the photo, and according to the Denver Post, suggested that he may have touched her rib cage, but not her buttocks. "The only person who would have a direct eye line is someone lying underneath my skirt and we didn't have anyone positioned there", Taylor said when David's lawyer asked why there are no other witnesses to her claims.

Swift's appearance Thursday was about making the statement, to herself and the world, that whatever it was that happened was not her fault.

Andrea Swift said she wanted to keep the encounter private because she didn't want it to define her daughter's life.

Thursday's final witness was Stephanie Simbeck, a photographer who works for Swift and took the picture of her and Mueller.

Baldridge repeatedly interrupted Mueller during an aggressive cross-examination and noted that Mueller has said he lost an audio recording of a meeting he had with his bosses before they fired him.
