Moreover, it's compatible with the entire Moto Z family, including the Moto Z2 Play, which recently arrived in Canada.

The Moto Z2 Force will be available on all major USA carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular.

As the Force part of the name suggests, this Z2 is all about being tough. "That leak also suggested it would have a 5.5" Quad HD 18:9 display as well, but the aspect ratio wasn't talked mentioned during the launch event in NY today. When it comes to storage it's pretty fine too with 64 gb onoard and huge 512 gb expandable.

A pair of 12-megapixel rear cameras. A new selective focus setting adds a blur effect to the background or foreground of images for a more artsy look and a selective color option lets you change part of your photo to black and white, while keeping the main subject in full color.

The features leaked in the photos include a dual rear camera setup, slim frame and front facing home button that may double as a fingerprint reader. The Moto Z Force packed a 3,500 mAh battery, while the Z2 Force's comes with just 2,730mAh battery. There is some level of fast charging, though. Given the Force's powerful innards, that's a questionable choice. That amounts to 6.1 millimeters.

Powered by the newest version of Android on the market, 7.1.1 Nougat, the Z2 Force will be offered across a variety of carriers. A software update will bring live streaming soon. There's no headphone jack, however, aping the position of the Apple iPhone 7 Plus.

Motorola is expanding its distribution strategy for the new Moto Z2 Force.

Both phones of course support the Moto Mods, and will suit different user types based on your personal needs. As with the Z, the new Z2 Force is a super thin phone with a mighty thick camera bump and a magnetic connector on the back.

What should be the price of the Moto Z2 Force when it launches in India? The Z2 Force works with the entire lineup of Moto Mods, including a new $300 360-degree camera attachment, and a variety of other practical add-ons. The unlocked phone officially costs $799 with a free Insta-Share Projector mod rebate, but pricing varies depending on your carrier. On Verizon, for instance, it's available outright for $756.

Instead of having only one major carrier stock the phone, like past year, Motorola said all four of the largest carriers-Verizon, AT&T (t), T-Mobile, and Sprint-will sell the phone directly in their stores.

One very important department where the Moto Z2 Force unfortunately can't hold a candle to the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S8, LG G6 or HTC U11 is battery capacity.
