Nicole Kidman is no stranger to the red carpet and the actress proved she can more than hold her weight against her younger co-stars at the premier of her new movie, The Beguiled.

The Oscar-winning actress turns 50 on June 20, but she's not shying away from it.

Elle Fanning and Nicole Kidman were the tastemakers of Cannes earlier this month, and on Monday night they took their style to the Los Angeles premiere of the film. "I try to embrace all parts of my life now because I think you just go, 'Wow".

The "Big Little Lies" actress adds she is looking forward to her birthday celebrations that will include a trip back to her native Australia.

"[I'm] making an effort to go back and see my mom in Australia and spend time [with her]", she explained. I did Big Little Lies and then Beguiled in a row. "I've got the whole summer off, so I'm just kind of relaxing".

Where was her husband Keith Urban, who recently gushed about her at the CMT Awards? "Just watching him, having put so much work into what he does, and him receiving those accolades from the fans, that was incredible".

The "Big Little Lies" actress will be celebrating reaching the milestone age later this month but she isn't upset about getting older because she is so "lucky".

She said: "I've managed to do two now". Nicole cheered. "Bring it on, give me more girls, more women!"

The film hits June 23rd, but release wide on the 30th, and stars - Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst, Elle Fanning, Oona Laurence, Angourie Rice, Addison Riecke, and Emma Howard.
