Men threw avocados at deli employee, breaking his jaw, police say

The men went on the wild fruit-slinging spree in the Stadium Gourmet Deli near Yankee Stadium after an argument about their food order at about 4:45 p.m. on May 29, according to police.

The video shows the clerk grabbing his head after an avocado hits him.

He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in serious but stable condition.

The suspects managed to get away in a dark colored sedan.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 25 and 30-years-old, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10 and 170 to 190 pounds.

The second man is 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches, 170 to 190 pounds; last seen wearing a white t-shirt, a blue vest, blue jeans and blue and white sneakers.
