An inmate at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert has died.

Both deaths occurred on Wednesday, but correctional officials have not said if they are related. Curtis Robert Cozart passed away on May 24.

Van Camp was almost finished serving his sentence.

A cause of death has not been released and no other details have been provided.

Correctional Service Canada says 44 year old Daniel James Tokarchuk was found just before 4:30 this morning and was taken to hospital where he was declared dead.

Tokarchuk's brother Kevin was shot and killed in May 2003 in his parent's garage on Churchill Drive, exactly a year after Savoie was murdered. No one has been arrested in Kevin's death.

As in all cases involving an inmate's death, police and the provincial coroner have been notified, and Correctional Service Canada will review the incident.
