BURNLEY striker Sam Vokes is poised to win his 50th cap for Wales after being named in Chris Coleman's 23-man squad for the crunch World Cup qualifier in Serbia on Sunday.

Liverpool forward Ben Woodburn is again in the squad after being called up but not given his debut against Ireland in March, while defenders Joe Walsh, Tom Lockyer and Gethin Jones are included, along with midfielder Lee Evans.

The Argus understands that County would be due a further payment from Evans' current club Wolverhampton Wanderers if the 22-year-old plays at the Stadion Rajko Mitić.

Wales sit third in qualifying group after five matches, four points behind both Serbia at the top and the Republic of Ireland in second.

Wales posted Coleman's selection on their official Twitter account, which sees the three Liverpool stars team up with the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Joe Allen and Ashley Williams.

Wales and Serbia last met in a 1-1 draw at Cardiff City Stadium in November.

Bale misses out this weekend through suspension, as does Neil Taylor.
